Celebrating 44 Years of Graduating Top Massage Therapists

Spectrum Center School of Massage offers a Professional Massage Training Program in preparation for Washington State licensure. Spectrum is dedicated to promoting excellence in massage therapy and instilling confidence, competence and professionalism in its graduates.

Class size at Spectrum is limited to 14-16 students, and all hands-on courses include a qualified instructor and one to two teaching assistants for efficient, individualized learning. The WA State Massage Board has commended “Spectrum for their high instructor to student ratio.”

In addition to the classroom instruction and outside hands-on practice the students have an opportunity to give sports massages at high school track meets and to work in the Spectrum Massage Clinic.

Spectrum is an approved educational facility to receive Veteran Training Benefits – *GI Bill®

Student Clinic – Schedule your Massage today!

Clients look forward to the student clinic, many returning yearly. Their feedback reflects the high quality of massages received, and the clinic appointment book fills quickly.

As a student you will have the opportunity to complete 100 in house massages. 50 will be completed as student clinic hours and the other 50 will be supervised lab hours to practice modalities learned in class. Clinic and lab time is invaluable to prepare you to be competent and successful licensed massage therapists. All massages done in house over in clinic.

Spectrum Center’s philosophy is simple. Spectrum Center offers a unique learning environment that provides excellent technical training as well as a warm personal setting. Training at Spectrum promises a rich and rewarding experience in preparation for entering the professional massage therapy field, and comes highly recommended by alumni. The Washington State Board of Massage has commended Spectrum: “…. this school maintains high standards of academic excellence through its course work and teachings.”

Massage as a form of touch is an extension of heart felt communication. Every Spectrum instructor teaches with an awareness of our holistic nature and the powerful impact of touch. We believe that every student has a gift and an individual style as a massage practitioner. Our goal is to assist each person in discovering and developing his/her personal ‘art of touch’.
